*Please note All internships are in Amsterdam, at our Central Head Office. We are looking for interns for 32-40 hours a week, from the 1st of September, for 5-6 months. You must be enrolled in your study program for the entire duration of the internship.

1. TRADE MARKETING

Together with the Global and Local Wholesale teams, our Trade Marketing Team drives the digital and offline expansion of Rituals at our wholesale partners (e.g. Sephora, de Bijenkorf, Zalando). As an intern, you support the Trade Marketing team on dedicated projects, operational requests, briefings and reporting.

Your accountabilities

  • Support in building and evaluating our campaigns across markets
  • Creation of communication material (offline/online).
  • Analyze and improve processes of internal tools (e.g. store visit app, toolbox)
  • Coordinate input and output of team tools
  • Trend and competitor research

 

2. MARKETING CAMPAIGNS

Our Marketing Campaigns team is responsible for all Rituals’ omnichannel marketing campaigns. This can be a market moment such as Mother’s Day or Easter, a digital campaign introducing our new Limited Edition or a global campaign with magazine ads, billboards and events around the world! We work closely with the entire organization to bring impactful, captivating campaigns to our customer.

 

Your accountabilities:

As the Marketing Campaigns intern, you support the entire team in their daily tasks and projects. For example, you conduct competitor/trend research and gather inspiration at the beginning of the campaign life cycle, track and analyze performance once it goes live and evaluate campaigns’ success. You will have your regular weekly tasks but also have the opportunity to work on exciting projects and collaborate with different teams. 

 

3. INTERNATIONAL MARKETING

Our International Marketing team focuses on ensuring we operate as a global brand across all international markets. We represent and guide the markets across the functional departments within the company, and funnel the Marketing and assortment needs and requests from the markets. This way we strengthen, simplify and improve our projects which will ultimately help us accelerate growth within our international markets. 

 

Your Accountabilities: 

As the International Marketing Intern you are part of the International Marketing team and support the team members with Marketing related projects and product assortment projects across international markets. You coordinate between different teams from the local offices and central head office to ensure we can successfully implement our programs and projects while listening and understanding the markets’ needs. In addition, you will support the team with creating presentations and help us understand the trends and insights by doing competitor and market research in order for us to grow in our international markets.

 

4. IN-STORE COMMUNICATION

A customer journey on the retail floor isn’t complete without amazing instore communication materials. Our goal is to create a high-level output of strong qualitative instore communication materials, and this team makes that happen! These projects are focused on promotions, market moments, limited editions, store openings and other specialties.


The base of the instore communications strategy is our international marketing backplanning and commercial and customer highlights.
Our team is responsible for Rituals’ owned stores, Franchise Stores, Wholesale locations (such as Sephora, Douglas and Bijenkorf), Travel (such as Airport retail locations), House of Rituals and Outlets. We focus on all instore print and digital content, promotional tables, pop-ups and windows. As a part of the overall Marketing department, our Instore Communications team consists of 8 project managers. We work very closely with our Graphic Designers in our inhouse Agency and with our Traffic colleagues who ensure all POS materials are printed and delivered to all our stores worldwide.

You get to work in a highly creative environment where you support the creative- and production process. As an intern, you support the entire team working on several projects for all our stores. This can differ from small (local) promotions to big projects such as our Seasonal promotions.

 

5. Innovation – Global Assortment

The role of the Innovation Team is to deliver successful innovative products that provide continued commercial value for Rituals. We bring hundreds of new products to the market each year and we ensure that our existing product portfolio is continuously updated to best in class technology to deliver exciting and sustainable products and concepts.

During the internship you will focus on two related, but different aspects:

  • Global Assortment
    • Ensure optimal assortment selection, and strategic distribution planning across channels and regions.
    • Collaborate with Product Managers to create presentations on product innovations and distribution.
    • Actively participate in assortment meetings, support optimization projects (e.g., Asia and Outlet), and work closely with the Data team.
    • Maintain and update the Distribution Matrix and Year plan, keeping stakeholders informed on product launches.
  • Pricing
    • Learn the pricing process at Rituals, how things are priced and how we maintain them in our different systems and files.
    • Handle requests from Markets or other teams who need pricing support.
    • Coordinate changes with Markets, LOBs and Data Entry team.
    • Contribute to launch of new pricing software

 

6. The Agency:

We’re looking for a grounded and confident Agency intern to help out at Rituals Cosmetics HQ in Amsterdam from August 2025 onwards. You’ll be mainly supporting the production team of The Agency in all photography and film shoots for the Rituals brand, helping to create and maintain the brand’s visual identity worldwide. In addition, you will assist the creative Agency with all-round tasks.

YOUR ACCOUNTABILITIES

Your responsibilities will be supporting the creative Agency within Rituals and assisting the production team in the pre-production, production and post-production of photo and video shoots (involvement from A-Z).

 

7. E-commerce: Marketplace Sales Assistant (Amazon, Allegro, TikTok Focus)

In this role, you will work as a part of our Marketplaces team, making sure the Rituals brand thrives on platforms such as Amazon, Allegro and TikTok Shop. We work with a seller model, in which fulfilment is done from our own warehouses and manage the shop content ourselves. Therefore, you’ll liaise closely with the Supply Chain team, Customer Service and our Marketing department.

If you're always on top of the latest TikTok trends and know about all the influential creators, this is the perfect opportunity for you to gain hands-on experience and make a real impact. Your Responsibilities: 

  • Listing Management: Assist in creating, optimizing, and managing product listings on the Amazon and TikTok Shop platform, ensuring accurate and compelling content to drive sales. 
  • Affiliate Selection and Sample Process for TikTok – Assist our Marketing department in selecting TikTok creators to receive our samples. You are the go-to person for any hiccups in this process.   
  • Order Fulfillment Support: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to delayed orders, and shipping discrepancies to maintain high customer satisfaction levels. 
  • Integrator Error Resolution: Collaborate with the team to identify and address any errors or issues within our integrator system, ensuring seamless integration between our internal systems and the marketplaces. 
  • Assortment File Maintenance: Support in maintaining and updating the assortment file, including product data to ensure accuracy and consistency across all channels. 
  • Performance Tracking: Assist in monitoring and analyzing key performance metrics, such as sales, traffic, and conversion rates, to identify areas for improvement and optimization. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Supply Chain, and Customer Service, to coordinate efforts and achieve departmental goals. 

 

8. Marketing Operations & Translations Team

Our team functions as the operational backbone and localisation hub of the marketing department. We are optimizing essential organisational processes and promoting tool adoption within our CHO-LHO marketing department. As well as advancing translation processes to ensure high quality adaption to market. The team's goal is to streamline end-to-end processes by structuring, simplifying, and automating manual activities to create more time on marketing specialist hands. 

Your responsibilities:

In the Marketing Ops & Translations team, you will support the entire team with daily tasks and projects. This includes assisting in understanding the processes of each marketing discipline, identifying overlaps and synergies, as well participating in tool implementation projects (e.g. AI pilot for translations and creative processes, POS material automatization). You will also help maintain style sheets, marketing USP, and translations in 25 languages. Your tech-savviness and structured approach are essential for success.

Qualifications

All internships are located in Amsterdam, at our Central Head Office. We are looking for interns for 32-40 hours a week, from the 1st of September, for 5-6 months.

Other requirements are:

  • Education: Currently studying in HBO/WO education in Communication/ BA/Hotel Management/ Marketing/Branding other. *Please note we can only accept applications from candidates who are actively enrolled in their study.
  • You are currently based in the Netherlands and can work from our Amsterdam office
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Good skills: planning, organization, and multitasking
  • You can work with Canva, PowerPoint, and Excel
