Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Network & Security:
- Install, configure, and maintain enterprise firewalls (Cisco Meraki), including policy management, firmware upgrades, patches, and day-to-day operations
- Monitor and troubleshoot network performance (availability, utilization, latency) and proactively identify weaknesses or bottlenecks
- Deploy and manage enterprise Wi-Fi solutions, including access point configuration, authentication, and wireless security
- Review vulnerability scans and penetration test results, perform remediation, and track risk mitigation efforts
- Configure, manage, and support LAN/WAN environments, including VLANs, , DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, NAT, S2S VPN
Email & Collaboration Systems:
- Administer M365 email platforms across multiple tenants
- Implement and manage email security (Barracuda, Darktrace, Abnormal), including anti‑phishing, spam filtering, and MFA policies
- Configure and administer Microsoft 365 multi-tenancy and cross-tenant collaboration
- Conduct quarterly Phishing tests
Systems, Cloud and Virtualization:
- Manage Entra Identity
- Configure and manage native Azure cloud services PaaS
- Familiarity with configuration and management of IAC
- Strong understanding of Azure architecture and native services
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server infrastructure, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, RDS, and Hyper‑V
- Manage Active Directory physical and logical architecture, including domain controllers, trusts, replication, and Group Policy design for enterprise security and optimization
- Configure and manage hybrid and cloud environments, including Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure Virtual Machines, and Virtual Networks
- Support and administer Hyper-V virtual server environments, including server builds, storage configuration, resource management, and performance optimization
Backup & Disaster Recovery:
- Configure, manage, and verify enterprise backup solutions for 100+ servers
- Monitor backup jobs, configure alerts, and perform system restores and disaster recovery testing
- Maintain backup platforms such as Veeam, Exagrid, Azure native backups, etc.
Monitoring, Performance & Operations:
- Maintain documentation, network diagrams, system configurations, and standard operating procedures
- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and post‑incident reviews
- Participate in an after-hour on-call rotation to support incident response, critical infrastructure issues, and critical end-user issues
- Monitor and test application and infrastructure performance, identify bottlenecks, and collaborate with developers and stakeholders on remediation
- Configure monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to ensure proactive issue detection
Qualifications
Professional Skills:
- 7+ Years experience in Microsoft technology stack, Networking, and Security
- Forward thinker with a focus on next generation technology and the value it brings to the Business.
- Strong attention to detail with a security mindset
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Technical Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of Native Azure cloud services and hybrid infrastructure
- Working knowledge of modern technology such as, Zero Trust, Privilege Access Management, web and email gateways
- Keen focus on automation of process, with an automation first mentality
- Strong knowledge of enterprise networking concepts and protocols
- Hands-on experience with firewalls, VPNs, and network security best practices
- Administration of M365 programs and tools
- Familiar with vulnerability management and PenTest security remediation
- Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
- Extensive experience with Windows Server and Active Directory environments
- Experience with Hyper-V virtualization
