Somfy, the world's leading brand in curtain motorization and shading solutions, is seeking a Sales & Business Development Manager to lead and grow the Interior Shading Business in Israel.

This is an independent, high-impact role with full responsibility for business performance and achieving the company's growth objectives. It offers an opportunity to lead a strategic business segment with significant growth potential while working in an innovative international environment as part of the global leader in motorized curtains and shading solutions.

The position is intended for an experienced field-sales professional with a proven track record in business development, strategic account management, and driving growth in competitive markets.

The role includes responsibility for developing Somfy's curtains business in Israel, managing professional customers and manufacturers, generating market demand, identifying new business opportunities, and increasing market share.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full responsibility for sales performance and profitability of the Interioir Shading Business in Israel
  • Develop and execute annual and quarterly business plans
  • Manage the sales pipeline and ensure achievement of business targets.
  • Identify market trends and new growth opportunities, recruit new customers, and expand the customer base  
  • Manage strategic B2B accounts, engage with decision-makers at various organizational levels, and build long-term business relationships  
  • Drive business development activities and market demand generation while promoting Somfy solutions:
    • Work closely with architects, interior designers, electrical consultants, developers, and contractors
    • Identify new projects and lead them from specification through execution
    • Strengthen brand positioning and increase market visibility
  • Lead negotiations and manage complex sales processes and commercial agreements
  • Serve as a knowledge leader in the field by delivering professional training to customers and reinforcing the brand's reputation through high-level expertise and support

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in B2B field sales
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field - advantage
  • Experience in managing business customers and developing commercial activities
  • Demonstrated success in working toward sales targets and driving business growth
  • Hands-on experience with CRM and ERP systems
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data, generate insights, build sales forecasts, and develop action plans
  • Native-level Hebrew and strong business-level English
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
