Job Description
The Senior Vice President of Sales, will lead our Enterprise and Commercial Sales teams for our rapidly growing organization. In this role, this executive will be responsible for building, expanding, coaching and leading a team of Vice Presidents, Regional Vice Presidents, Account Executives and Account Managers as we continue to expand our footprint and double down on our growth across North America. The Senior Vice President of Sales, NAMER, will ultimately be responsible for scaling our sales execution across organizations that have 2,000 to over 50,000 employees.
Our ideal candidate has been in several sales leadership roles before in the SaaS industry and has had success growing sales teams, managing communications, training, coaching and being an inspiration for the entire sales organization. We are looking for someone who has strong integrity and a great ambition to succeed in yearly revenues in North America.
As a Senior Vice President Sales, America you will:
- Be recognized as a thought leader with the ability to significantly influence at all levels within the organization
- Develop and execute a comprehensive and scalable customer acquisition strategy that is targeted towards Enterprise and Commercial sized organizations
- Lead and scale a diverse, high performing team that embodies SmartRecruiters core values
- Effectively lead, engage and inspire multiple RVPs while driving consistency and best practices across the various levels of our Large Enterprise and Commercial sales teams in North America
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the market and what it takes to strategically and effectively sell into large organizations with expansive deal cycles
- Develop, train, educate, and motivate each and every team member to be more confident and comfortable selling our solutions and helping Talent Acquisition functions realize their goals and hiring success
- Efficiently plan and provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting to the Chief Revenue Officer and Operational Leadership team
Qualifications
- Experience in software and/or applications sales (ideally in an HR / TA environment, but not limited to, SaaS experience required), selling primarily to the C-level
- Proven leadership experience overseeing enterprise sales teams in the US
- Solid track record of recruiting, developing and retaining a high performing, diverse enterprise sales organization
- Proven ability to maximize growth and new account acquisitions
- Consistent overachievement of quota and revenue goals
- Expertise working with enterprise-level accounts
- Demonstrated record of building satisfied, loyal and reference-able customers
- Strategic enterprise sales experience and revenue achievement selling multiple enterprise software offerings
- Experience selling cloud-based enterprise applications is preferred
