Job Description

1. Job Purpose

 

The main purpose of the Operations Manager’s Job is to oversee core functions which relate to the delivery of Rawabi Specialized Contracting Activities

2. Principal Accountabilities

 

  • Manages all RSC related operations to meet budget and other non-financial targets.
  • Accountable for the successful execution of all RSC projects based on agreed business plan.
  • Accountable for maintaining good client, consultants and subcontractors relations, including resolving any contractual issues that cannot be resolved at the project manager level.  .
  • Inputs on and resolves difficult technical or business issues.
  • Inputs and supports the resolution of resources allocation conflicts.
  • Identifies and tracks operational KPIs and devises plans and initiatives for operational improvements.
  • Provides support for the professional development of staff and managers reporting directly to him.
  • Has a solid experience in estimation aspects
  • Capable of developing the company business and defining potential opportunities.


3. Communications and Working Relationships

 

  • Supports the General Manager with all operational related decisions.
  • Interfaces with clients, consultants & subcontractors on serious problem before they are escalated to the GM.
  • Interacts with all levels of the organization on project related issues (Operational and others).
  • Interacts and manages direct reports and operational issues on a continuous basis.
  • Assures with planning in-charge an optimal allocation of resources across projects.
  • Assures the efficient and effective delivery of services as per Business Plan.
  • Accountable for the proper implementation of HSE & QAQC Polices.  

Qualifications

  • BS in Civil Engineering
  • Excellent interpersonal, communications, organization and presentation skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of the construction/ contracting industry, trend, standards and other market developments.
  • Strong working knowledge of the key construction/ contracting related function (e.g. engineering, procurement, equipment management...)
  • Minimum 12 years experience in the construction industry at operational managerial level in a well-known organization.
  •  Minimum 5 years experience in GCC, preferably in Saudi Arabia.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Fluent English & Arabic Language skills.
