Job Description
- To ensure that the cutting dredger is setup and maintained and that relevant, correct operating procedures are followed.
- Optimal use of the dredger to achieve the optimal productivity and to minimize its downtime.
- Direct the work of Shift Operators assigned to the section.
- Maintain and improve safety, health and environmental standards and practices.
- Perform fair and reasonable tasks related to the job and working environment, and the discretion of the supervisor.
- Checks / tests / inspections / reports.
- Ensure adequate operational spares are available for functional equipment.
- Clean equipment and work area.
Qualifications
- Relevant College Degree
- 15-20 Years’ experience as a Dredger Master
- Problem solving skills / Leadership skill
- Good Communication skills
