ProSidian seeks a Program Manager – Conduct of Operations (ConOps) | Conduct of Operations (Conops) for Program Support on a Exempt Basis for Working On-Site (Client Site) in The Southeast | South Atlantic | CONUS Area (Aiken, South Carolina) Contract Contingent, generally located across the Aiken, South Carolina Across The Southeast | South Atlantic | CONUS Region supporting a High-hazard nuclear cleanup environment requiring disciplined staffing, safety, quality, security, and regulatory compliance.

We seek Program Manager – Conduct of Operations (ConOps) candidates with relevant Nuclear And Environmental Management Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Nuclear And Environmental Management Sector Clients such as SRMC. This as a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Conduct of Operations (Conops) Functional Area / Swim Lane / Category Discipline Professional - ProSidian Strategic Resourcing and Professional Staff Augmentation for Conduct of Operations (Conops) Solutions and Services Position; however, ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.

JOB OVERVIEW

Provide services and support as a Program Manager – Conduct of Operations (ConOps) [ProSidian Strategic Resourcing and Professional Staff Augmentation for Conduct of Operations (Conops) Solutions and Services] aligned with the Conduct of Operations (Conops) Functional Area / Swim Lane / Category Discipline in the Nuclear And Environmental Management Industry Sector. 

This role focusses on Human Capital | Project Management | Engineering | Environmental | Compliance | Risk Management | IT Effectiveness | Business Process | Training Knowledge Management Solutions for clients such as Savannah River Mission Completion, LLC (SRMC) | SRMC Supply Chain / Procurement supporting the Liquid Waste Program under DOE prime contract 89303322DEM000068 Generally Located In Aiken, South Carolina and across the Southeast | South Atlantic | CONUS Region (Of Country/World) Working On-Site (Client Site).

Provide Conduct of Operations (Conops) Services and Solutions as a ProSidian Engagement Team Member working in a capacity that Supports operational conduct activities through planning, analysis, coordination, documentation, compliance, quality assurance, and stakeholder support..  Institutionalize disciplined Conduct of Operations through clear policy, aligned procedures, effective training, and sustained program improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Program Manager – Conduct of Operations (ConOps) | Conduct of Operations (Conops) [L00551]

Safety is a primary responsibility in each job performed. Obtain safety training, obey safety rules, and make safety an integral part of each task. Take necessary steps to stop work if continuing the activity is unsafe or will create and unsafe condition.

  •  Contributes to the development, maintenance, and improvement of the Company’s Conduct of Operations programs, providing overarching direction and guidance to facility organizations to enhance or improve operations.
  •  Liaises with functional area managers to transition Site programs, ensuring identification and alignment with SRMC objectives, regulatory requirements, procedures, training, and execution.
  •  Evaluates training and procedure content and processes to ensure conformance and effectiveness. Develops and implements training as warranted.
  •  Assists facilities with issue investigations and corrective action programs to prevent event reoccurrence and improve overall ConOps performance.
  •  Ensures operational requirements are appropriately identified and incorporated into the design, planning, and execution processes and procedures
  •  Acts as subject matter expert, point of contact, and representative both internally and externally for ConOps programs and activities.
  •  Leads and implements small to large sized, complex programs and improvement initiatives
  •  Serves as technical subject matter expert on Operations programs, policies, procedures, Project s and/or practices
  •  Interprets and communicates site, company and/or departmental procedures or protocols
  •  Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Desired Qualifications For Program Manager – Conduct of Operations (ConOps) | Conduct of Operations (Conops) [L00551] Candidates:

  •  Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline with 8+ years of experience in a relevant Engineering, operations and/or maintenance function OR;
  • Associates of Science or Associates of Applied Science degree or non-technical Bachelor’s degree 

 

Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline with 8+ years of experience in a relevant Engineering, operations and/or maintenance function OR;
  •  Associates of Science or Associates of Applied Science degree or non-technical Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years relevant experience in Engineering, operations or maintenance function OR;
  •  High School Diploma or GED with 11+ years relevant experience in Engineering, operations or maintenance function

This position aligns with functional and technical requirements in the Nuclear And Environmental Management Sector and Program Manager – Conduct of Operations (ConOps) Candidates principally support Conduct of Operations (Conops) Functional Area / Swim Lane / Category Disciplines.

  •  General knowledge of Human Performance Improvement
  •  In-depth knowledge of DOE, Federal, State, and Local regulations pertaining to operations, safety requirements
  • Experience in conducting compliance assessments and/or Senior Supervisory Watch (SSW)

Other Details

Responsible for Conduct of Operations (ConOps) Program Management, and program transition subject matter expertise. Develops, promulgates, and maintains conduct of operations policies, standards, and guidance.
