ProSidian Seeks a Project Support Specialist - Administrative/ Business headquartered near Savannah River Site / Aiken, South Carolina to support an engagement for Nuclear Energy Sector Clients The Savannah River Site (SRS), a 310 square mile (198,046 acres) Department of Energy site, is located in the sand-hills region of South Carolina. It encompasses parts of Aiken, Barnwell and Allendale counties and is bordered on the west by the Savannah River and Georgia. SRS is close to several cities, including Augusta, Georgia and Columbia, South Carolina. It is also within a few hours of Atlanta, Savannah, Charleston, Greenville and Charlotte. 

This position currently best aligns with the General Project Support Specialist BU 110 Labor Category and ideal candidates exhibit the ability to visualize, analyze, and convert data and experiences to meet performance challenges while confidently engaging in productive “Jugaad” and dialogue targeting mission success.  ProSidian Team Members work to provide temporary staffing support services to support Savannah River Remediation (SRR), the Liquid Waste (LW) Contractor located at the Department of Energy Savannah River Site in Aiken, SC 29808.  Services anticipated incudes storage, integration, treatment and disposition of the liquid radioative waste being managed at the Savannah River Site (DOE).

Project Support Specialist - Administrative/ Business Candidates shall work to support requirements for --- and Provide project support to the Project Integration Organization, including Project Controls, Estimating, Integration and Interface, Project Management Office, and Funds Control Groups’ management and personnel.

Prepare Metrics, Documents, Deliverable/Presentation Packages, including charts and tables (paper and electronic files). Identify and track Action items.

Maintain electronic calendars for multiple Managers and complete travel reimbursement forms.

Coordinate Departmental Training, Safety Meeting attendance, and Communications.

Coordinate office equipment maintenance including maintaining the inventory of office supplies.

Departmental contact for computer hardware/software support, computer supplies and troubleshooting.

Perform maintenance duties for the site Liquid Waste Operations Document Library.

Reference/support document research and data compilation.

Qualifications

The Project Support Specialist - Administrative/ Business shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years, Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related tools and technology required for the position.  Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria. All employees, in the performance of their respective responsibilities, shall conduct themselves in the highest possible standards of ethical and business conduct.  The candidate shall ensure that duties are performed in a competent and professional manner that meets milestones/delivery schedules as outlined.

Requisite work experience and technical skills to fulfill the roles and responsibilities of the General Project Support Specialists working and performing tasks in the Energy Industry (Oil and Gas / Power and Utilities / Nuclear Energy) Associate Degree in Business, Communications or English, or a related area, with 7 years related experience in project / technical support or document /configuration control / office management. At least two (2) years experience in the use of various software programs, such as: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes, Deltek Time and Expense, Filemaker Pro. Experience with governmental agencies Orders, Policies, Standards and Guidelines is desired. Recent SRS experience (within last two years) is required.

Candidate must be familiar with electronic document control and configuration management systems such as the SRS Liquid Waste Organization (LWO) document library. A 40 hour work week schedule is anticipated for this position. SRR utilizes various work schedules; including 5/8s (8 hours/day; five days per week), 4/10s (10 hours/day; four days per week), and a 9/80s (9 hours/day, five days on week A and 4 days on week B). Work week excludes SRR holidays. Each work day has a 30-minute lunch. Standard Facilities Access required but a security clearance is not currently required for this position

TRAVEL:  Occasional travel may be required to attend meetings, events, site visits, or other training requirements.  Travel is coordinated with the technical point of contact and approved in writing by the Contracting Officer in advance, is allowed, in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations.  LOCATION:  Work shall be conducted at or in proximity to Savannah River Site / Aiken, South Carolina
