We are looking for a visionary and high-performing Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead Bosch’s Direct Air Capture Venture into its next phase of growth and innovation. Direct Air Capture (DAC) is a revolutionary technology aimed at combating climate change by capturing carbon dioxide directly from the atmosphere and thereby significantly reducing the overall carbon footprint of corporations worldwide. This initiative is backed by extensive research and competitive assets aligning perfectly with Bosch’s "Invented for Life" philosophy.  

As CEO, you will be responsible for the venture focusing on fundraising, spinning this internal venture off with external investment partners and leading the strategic direction going forward. 

Your Responsibilities 

• Fundraise double-digit mEUR for the new company out of Bosch together with strategic investors and partners.
• Found the new company coordinating all relevant activities (e.g. concept for employment conditions including compensation strategy).
• Develop and execute the strategic vision and long-term goals of the new company. 
• ​​​Hire, lead and develop a high-performing team. 
• ​​​​​​​Oversee financial performance, ensuring sustainable profitability and effective resource allocation. Develop and implement a scalable business infrastructure and processes. 
• Secure customers and strategic partnerships for long-term growth. 
• Represent the company to all relevant partners and stakeholders. 

Your Profile 

• Proven track record as CEO and similar roles in a deep-tech or climate-tech B2B technology company (including growth stage). 
• Demonstrated ability of raising funds (early and growth stage) from institutional or strategic investors. 
• Experience in managing global partnerships and governmental relations. 
• Thorough understanding of the process industry, climate tech and renewable energies, ideally in Carbon Capturing. 
• Exceptional communicator across audiences – from engineers to investors. 
• Entrepreneurial mindset and growth-oriented leadership style, emphasizing innovation. 
• Building and leading high-performing, cross-functional and cross-cultural teams founded on trust. 
• High energy, grit, and emotional intelligence – ability to inspire teams, overcome challenges, and maintain balance under pressure
• International business experience and fluency in English 
• MBA or comparable degree preferred 

This role is a temporary hire (12 months, option to extend / transition into new company) and currently based in Stuttgart or Berlin, Germany.  
Frequent global business travel is required.
