Job Description
- Supervise scaffolding erection, modification, and dismantling activities at offshore sites.
- Ensure all scaffolding work meets ADNOC standards, project specifications, and international safety regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments, inspections, and safety briefings (Toolbox Talks) before commencing work.
- Manage scaffolding teams, ensuring proper allocation of manpower and adherence to safety protocols.
- Inspect scaffolding structures to verify stability, load capacity, and compliance with work permits.
- Coordinate with construction, maintenance, and HSE teams to ensure scaffolding supports operational needs.
- Maintain accurate records of scaffolding activities, materials used, and permits issued.
- Train and mentor scaffolders on best practices, hazard identification, and offshore safety measures.
- Participate in audits, incident investigations, and corrective action implementation.
- Ensure proper tagging (Green, Yellow, Red) of scaffolding structures as per industry standards.
Qualifications
- Certification in Scaffolding (CISRS, TUV, or equivalent).
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in scaffolding supervision within offshore oil & gas projects.
- Strong knowledge of BS EN, OSHA, and ADNOC scaffolding regulations.
- Valid offshore safety certifications (e.g., BOSIET, H2S, PTW, Work at Height).
- Experience in managing scaffolding operations in hazardous offshore environments.
- Strong leadership, communication, and safety enforcement skills.
Additional Information
- Familiarity with ADNOC offshore procedures and work permit systems.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings for scaffolding requirements.
- Experience working in offshore rotations and managing multi-national teams.
