Job Description

  • Supervise scaffolding erection, modification, and dismantling activities at offshore sites.
  • Ensure all scaffolding work meets ADNOC standards, project specifications, and international safety regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments, inspections, and safety briefings (Toolbox Talks) before commencing work.
  • Manage scaffolding teams, ensuring proper allocation of manpower and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Inspect scaffolding structures to verify stability, load capacity, and compliance with work permits.
  • Coordinate with construction, maintenance, and HSE teams to ensure scaffolding supports operational needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of scaffolding activities, materials used, and permits issued.
  • Train and mentor scaffolders on best practices, hazard identification, and offshore safety measures.
  • Participate in audits, incident investigations, and corrective action implementation.
  • Ensure proper tagging (Green, Yellow, Red) of scaffolding structures as per industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Certification in Scaffolding (CISRS, TUV, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in scaffolding supervision within offshore oil & gas projects.
  • Strong knowledge of BS EN, OSHA, and ADNOC scaffolding regulations.
  • Valid offshore safety certifications (e.g., BOSIET, H2S, PTW, Work at Height).
  • Experience in managing scaffolding operations in hazardous offshore environments.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and safety enforcement skills.

Additional Information

  • Familiarity with ADNOC offshore procedures and work permit systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings for scaffolding requirements.
  • Experience working in offshore rotations and managing multi-national teams.
