Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Technical Business Analyst on a permanent basis! Working collaboratively with our project teams and Agile squads, you will conduct both analysis and design on projects, whilst ensuring traceability of outcome through development and testing. You will play a key role in improving the value of our new and existing products that support our strategy, customers and colleagues for now and in the future.
What you’ll do:
- Requirement gathering and document detailed requirements from the business by conducting research, interviews and workshops.
- Write technical stories and collaborate with QA Engineers and Developers to refine these.
- Support Product Owners in the refinement of the product backlog.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner to define and create features and user stories, ensuring alignment with requirements and customer needs.
- Support the planning for the business analysis phases of all initiatives.
- Analyse sophisticated business problems using data from customers and our internal sources.
- Conduct detailed change impact assessments as part of end-to-end change delivery.
- Support the wider change community to ensure change is handled successfully across esure.
Qualifications
What we’d love you to bring:
- Extensive Technical business analysis experience working within an Agile environment with squads.
- Experience working on API integration projects is highly advantageous.
- A passion for supporting project teams and Agile squads to improve the value from our products and services.
- Detailed analytical abilities with an inquisitive nature and someone who fully believes in data led decisioning.
- The ability to document data and initiatives in a way that is digestible for non-technical audiences.
- Experience facilitating workshops and meetings to gather the data required to deliver initiatives.
- Experience conducting root cause analysis and taking ownership of solutions.
- Ability to produce and manage features, epics and stories with acceptance criteria in JIRA, as well as other artefacts e.g., data mapping documentation.
