Job Description

We are looking for a Surveyor to join our Wellington team to support us as we grow. We have some great projects on the go which will give you the opportunity to develop your skills and join a global company at our most exciting time in a period of growth!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake and assist with office and fieldwork work, including engineering- and cadastral survey projects
  • Efficient calculation and preparation of survey data and plans, including engineering and cadastral survey datasets
  • Prepare subdivision resource consent applications under the supervision of senior surveyors
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of office systems, libraries and standards for land surveying, particularly for Landonline and 12D software
  • Continuous improvement of the way all key tasks are undertaken to industry, professional and company standards

Qualifications

Ideally, you will have at least 5 years experience as a Surveyor in New Zealand with the relevant NZ Survey qualifications and experience. In addition to this, you will also have: 

  • Full work rights for New Zealand 
  • Technician qualification or BSurv
  • Demonstrable experience with engineering and cadastral surveying projects
  • Good knowledge of AutoCAD, 12D, and Landonline software systems
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
