Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Director to lead our sales team in the DACH region (currently 3 people + 1 open position) and drive business growth in the region. The Sales Director will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, managing the sales team, and achieving revenue targets.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver sales results and drive business growth for the region
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales campaigns and promotional activities.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners to expand the company's customer base.
    • Continuously assess and improve the sales process to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead the DACH Sales team (currently 3 sales + 1 open position)
    • Build the strongest team possible by mentoring, growing and motivating team members and making strong hiring decisions
    • Support team members in advancing their opportunities all along the sales cycle
    • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the sales team and provide regular feedback and coaching to improve performance.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve company sales goals and revenue targets in the region
    • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify business opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Penetrate circles of influence
    • Grow our brand awareness toward a targeted audience
    • Identify associations, groups, etc. worth engaging with
    • Define plan to engage those circles of influences and execute it personally and with your team
    • Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance the company's presence and generate leads.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to the executive team.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of at least 5 years in sales leadership or a similar role.
  • Extensive experience in developing and executing successful sales strategies.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on achieving results.
  • Successful track record in managing a remote sales team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in German and English
  • Skillful negotiation and interpersonal abilities
  • Aggressive follow-up and closing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • In-depth knowledge of the cybersecurity industry and market trends.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tools.

Additional Information

  • Location: Anywhere in Germany. Work from home 100%  plus regular trips to Paris Headquarters and to DACH customers and events.

  • Reporting line: This position reports to the CEO
