Job Description
EcoVadis is looking for a Customer Support Specialist to take ownership of our customer’s experience and provide high touch assistance to their questions and concerns. You are a trusted advisor and have the power to influence by being the eyes, ears, & voice of our company. You are on the front lines of the EcoVadis mission! This position interacts with all EcoVadis customers (Buyers & Suppliers) to provide exemplary service that respects the unique relationship each customer has with us and serve as an EcoVadis ambassador to the world.
Responsibilities
Provide support for customers primarily via email, chat, phone, webinar, etc to ease their experience on the platform, answer questions, and provide consultative assistance.
“Own” each customer interaction. Take appropriate steps to listen, understand, and engage with the customer to find solutions & communicate options.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of the EcoVadis platform, processes, & practices to ensure quality assistance with incoming customer queries. Continuous learning is necessary as we expand service offerings and make improvements.
Understand and communicate industry best practices and the evolution of EcoVadis product and platform functionality,methodology, and administrative services integral to the customer's success
Identifying risks to the customers successful completion of the EcoVadis evaluation process and actively work to mitigate issues before they happen. Work with internal & external stakeholders to facilitate communication & information exchange.
Capture and record internal and customer-sourced insights, then proactively report & contribute as necessary with the Team Leader, Management, & other EcoVadis BU’s to bridge gaps that may exist between customer expectations & participation
Additional responsibilities related to the function may be required
Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in a Business related discipline (Management, Business, Marketing)
Must be fluent in English & French. Proficiency in additional languages would be appreciated.
Experience - At least 1 year working experience preferably with international exposure in a support role (even if only dealing with international clients over the phone)
Experience in Online Chat support would be a plus
Must be able to speak with a customer as a first level support.
Good oral and written communication skills
Customer and quality oriented attitude
Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
Demonstrate high proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to work well in an international team environment
Interest or passion for Sustainability
