Job Description
This role is focused on supporting the commercial relationship with a portfolio of key global accounts. This includes client management and interaction, leading external and internal forecasts, reporting requirements, contract reviews and pricings.
It requires a dedicated individual, with a strong understanding of financial matters, and close attention to detail.
Key Accountabilities
The key responsibilities of the role are to support the VP, Group Commecial Director through:
- Client management – manage client commercial conversations including contract management, pricing, reporting, and ad-hoc needs
- P&L management – manage the client P&L including monthly forecast and actuals reconciliation. Present the monthly forecast to executive management and utilize to manage and approve costs including staffing, intercompany transfers, and accrual management
- External client reporting – ensuring we are contractually compliant with the ongoing reporting requirements
- U.S. Fee File management – Financially manage the U.S. fee file to track signed projects to budget and proactively address staffing gaps
- Project pricing – Utilize Fee File management to work cross-functionally to price projects
- Cost Management – provide guidance on key cost initiatives and reporting
- Contract compliance – ensure contractual compliance of all financial obligations to each international client, often dealing with external & internal auditors and client procurement teams.
- Balance Sheet Review – ensure that commentary on outstanding balances are updated on a monthly basis and actioned in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- 8 – 12 years of relevant finance qualification/experience (client finance, commercial, FP&A).
- Global and/or client experience a plus.
- Commercially minded with a ability to proactively identify issues and create solutions.
- Ability to interact with senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and process-minded, ability to work cross-functionally.
- Naturally curious to interrogate and validate financial information.
- Self-starter, highly motivated and able to work to their own initiatives.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines through excellent project management skills.
- Ability to explain financial information to non-financial people.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Nexelus, Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics a plus.
Additional Information
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $94,000-$152,375. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. The company's incentive compensation plan is subject to change.
