Job Description

Job Summary:

As a Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Architect, you will design, implement, and deploy Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions to a wide variety of clients at the enterprise level. You will lead the Marketing Cloud solution design/technical design of larger, cross-cloud marketing projects and/or owns the entire project in those instances where Marketing Cloud are implemented. Must be proficient in following the best practices, code review process and Salesforce platform solutioning & design. Candidate must be self-motivated individual & team player.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Meet with clients to analyse their work practices and understand the nature of their businesses to properly define needs and customize marketing solutions using Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Guide customers through the implementation of Marketing Cloud solutions
  • Develop marketing automation-specific user stories and lead use story refinement meetings to finalized acceptance criteria.
  • Develop functional specifications and business architecture (in close collaboration with Technical Architect)
  • Recommend best practices for key Journey Builder/Engagement Studio campaigns/Transactional Emails
  • Develop marketing automation-specific project plan/work breakdown structure components in collaboration with Engagement Manager
  • Serve as primary point of contact to the client’s Product Owner for marketing automation and/or client marketing team.
  • Iterate on solutions through a Build/Test/Review cycle with customer Product Owner
  • Offer high-level guidance on marketing best practices.
  • Negotiate solutions to complex scenarios with multiple parties and business problems.
  • Develop and deliver end-user training with support from Marketing Technical architect.
  • Provide guidance to optimizing marketing technical operations.
  • Coordinate and deliver User Acceptance Testing
  • Create client-based training materials and deliver end-user training.
  • Overall responsibility for project success and customer success
  • Optimize plans and resources to deliver maximum value to clients.
  • Develop and nurture trusted adviser relationships with clients.
  • Assist with Account Planning/Management and other pre-sales activities in new and existing clients.
  • Influence and coach customers throughout their Salesforce journey
  • Coach, mentor and develop junior resources.
  • Make decisions that positively impact Customer, Company, and Individual metrics.

 

Skills & Experience:

 

  • Solid technical background in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, with a general understanding of Salesforce CRM
  • Ability to uncover business requirements, develop a technical strategy and be able to create and effectively demonstrate technical solutions that address customer requirements.
  • Unique mix of marketing, business case/user story development and Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementation experience, with an emphasis on navigating complex front-end technical and operational environments
  • Exposure to integrations, developing and executing data migrations.
  • Experience consulting with clients with an emphasis on demand generation, personalization
  • Strong facilitation and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of Agile best practices
  • Understanding of Marketing Automation Data Governance, Security and Compliance best practices
  • Proficient in AMP script, SSJS and other programmatic languages
  • Hands on experience and understanding of cross channel campaign development.
  • Expert in configuring journeys in Marketing Cloud & managing automations through Automation Studio
  • Experience of participating in Pre-sales call for demonstrating POCs
  • Management/Contact Management/Workflow Automation/Case Management
  • Hands-on experience on Marketing Cloud Connector to integrate with Sales/Service Cloud

Good to have skills:

- Sales Cloud – Lead Management, Account Management, Opportunity Management, Workflow Automation, Case Management is nice to have

- Experience in Apex Programming, Configuration and customizations, Salesforce Integration experience is nice to have

- SAP knowledge is a plus

- Data Cloud, IS – optional

Work Experience: 7 – 10 years

Qualifications

Qualifications:

- BE/BTECH/BCA/MCA  

- Proven experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud

- Proficient in troubleshooting complex issues related to Salesforce configuration, customizations, and integrations.

- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
