Want to join our team? Do you love all things social media? Are you an adventure and outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hiking, biking, paddling, and everything in between? Would you like to help manage the online reputation of the nation’s largest consumer co-op?
If you answered yes, we have an exciting opportunity for you! ICUC Social is looking for social media Content Specialists to join our unique, remote team who are available to work overnights (midnight - 8AM Central Time) throughout the week, including weekends.
What awaits you?
Review, monitor, moderate, and respond to comments posted to our clients’ social channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.) on behalf of our clients using their unique brand voice.
Craft creative content to encourage participation and increase engagement across our clients’ social channels.
Provide our clients’ audience with an excellent experience through the clients’ social channels.
Escalate issues, observations, opportunities, and insights through the relevant channels.
Understand our clients’ social media strategy, tone-of-voice, and brand guidelines, to communicate with their audience efficiently.
Ensure the online community's safety policies and brand guidelines are being followed by all members.
Qualifications
What You'll Bring:
Genuine interest and enthusiasm to encourage people to get outdoors.
Vast knowledge of and experience with various outdoor activities.
Strong written communication (spelling, grammar, syntax, etc.) in English. Fluency (C2 proficiency level) in additional languages is an asset.
Open and flexible availability to work the shift noted above throughout the week and on weekends.
Professional experience moderating and engaging across all social media platforms.
Experience writing, editing, and creating engaging content in the social media space using brand voice while following established guidelines.
The ability to tailor your written tone and voice to match each customer.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Reliable high-speed internet with no data restrictions.
A current PC/laptop (tablets/smartphones are not compatible with our platforms) that can conduct video and audio calls.
An active Facebook account.
NOTE:
Hourly compensation: $15 USD plus benefits if applicable.
Full (32-40 hours per week) and part-time (24 hours per week) opportunities are available.
