Job Description

Total Experience : 6 to 8 Years

Must Have Skills :

  • Experience in DWH/Database Testing testing
  • Good Communication skills
  • Understand Requirements and translate them into test cases
  • Debug the differences and document the issues identified
  • Proficiency with SQL language and Data Warehousing principles

Good to Have Skills :

  • UI and Automation testing (Selenium)
  • Experience with testing SOAP / API projects
  • Mentoring a team of 2 to 3 QA Associates
  • Experience in ETL/DWH/Database Testing
  • Familiarity with Cloud technologies & JIRA

Roles & Responsibilities :

  • Define scope and objectives of all levels of QA testing
  • Write test plans, design test cases, develop test SQL scripts, test conditions, test procedures and expected results
  • Work on DWH / Database testing
  • Perform all aspects of testing, including functional, regression, load, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Create large volumes of test data if required
  • Track and reports defect using appropriate tools such as JIRA
  • Validate fixes and ensure follow through to all test cycles
  • Investigate and recommend remediation strategies for data quality conditions, and process failures
  • Communicate test status to internal project team and clients(s)
  • Develop and contribute best practices and standards for a solution or across multiple medium/large scale projects/accounts
  • Mentoring a team of 2 to 3 QA Associates
