Job Description

Execution

· You will work with a tech client (one of the Big Four).  This role will work within their client teams to focus on their UX business needs.

· You will lead independent rapid research projects with fast turnarounds. The research will be more foundational on consumer facing products.

· You will research user groups, audit websites, test prototypes, and educate clients in user research best practices.

· You will design protocols and conduct user research including, but not limited to, in-depth interviews, remote unmoderated studies, diary studies, and translating them into reporting of high quality, actionable insights, next steps, and opportunities for growth

· You will be planning and conducting user research, usability testing, and heuristic analysis with special attention to accessibility and inclusive research practices

Client

· You will plan, conduct, measure, and analyze user research, partnering closely with researchers, design, project management, engineering, and other cross-functional partners.

· You will proactively engage early in planning phase of a research study (when possible), and proactively partner with Cross Functional partners to get necessary awareness.

· You will Communicate research insights to stakeholders and team members through oral and written reports.

· You will understand and incorporate complex technical and business requirements into research.

· You will collaborate with the UX Researcher to develop timelines and requirements for study recruitment and participation

· You will support ongoing UX research logistics, including organizing research sessions, taking notes during study sessions

· You will assist UXR with study analysis and synthesis, as well as build research reports (creating highlight videos, slide decks, etc.).

· You will plan, observe, and moderate usability testing sessions, concept validation, rapid iterative research, and interviews

· You will analyze and interpret data to generate insights and recommendations into compelling reports

People

· You will partner with project managers, sales team, and CSMs to provide the best outcome for our customers and their consumers

· You will be a strong teammate and mentor to other User researchers

· You will work with onsite and offshore team to structure solutions based on research tools and techniques.

Qualifications

·  (ideal) Master’s in Human-Computer Interactions, Human Factors, User Research, or Psychology

· Certifications: (ideal) Human-Computer Interactions, Human Factors, User Research, or Psychology

· 5-10 years of experience working in research consulting and professional services

· Experience being in customer-facing roles in enterprise-level organizations, working with digital agency, and/or consulting conducting hands-on user research

· Experience in pre-sales and building knowledge management on a user research practice a plus

· 5-10 years of relevant experience consulting in the user research space using research techniques and methodologies

· 5+ years experience developing approaches for complex user research problem.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $68,000-$106,000. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
