Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and hands-on Pricing Manager who will drive and own pricing initiatives across zooplus shops. You will collaborate with both regional and central teams to enhance customer experience, price perception, and pricing strategy execution.

You will Own and drive Own Brands Food pricing in close collaboration with commercial teams to reach performance goals and identify growth opportunities.

Responsabilities:

  • Understand and improve customer price perception 
  • Conduct initial pricing calculations for new product launches 
  • Monitor local market conditions and competitive environment
  • Support the regional and country teams in defining sources of business
  • Elaborate pricing architecture and pricing strategies in close collaboration with Brand Management
  • Transfer pricing strategies on regional and shop-level
  • Align pricing with other commercial stakeholders such as sales, marketing and promotion
  • Evaluate pricing performance and leverage data-driven insights for decision-making
  • Analyze and evaluate the impact of pricing changes on customer behavior and key financial metric
  • Develop and implement pricing tests and experiments to optimize pricing strategies
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations at both shop and central management levels
  • Understand and improve pricing tools, parameter and processes to suit Own Brands Food pricing needs

Qualifications

 

  • Graduate degree in a business-related discipline with strong performance in quantitative subjects (e.g., pricing, mathematics, econometrics)
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in pricing or revenue management, ideally within online retail
  • Strong analytical mindset with above-average proficiency in MS Excel incl. SQL
  • Initial experience and interest to hone stakeholder management skills
  • Willingness to work in a strong team environment, as well as the ability to deliver high-quality results on individual projects
  • Fluency in English; additionally German is a plus
