Job Description
Purpose:
The Program Manager (Engineering & Operations) is responsible for overseeing and managing the programs within our Products & Engineering organization. The Program Manager works cross-functionally with a broad set of technical and business partners to drive programs. The first assignment in this role will be an implementation of ERP system into our Source and Supply domain. This will require a technical background and experience in ERP implementation (SAP), an understanding of system architecture (microservices, cloud), and the experience in e-commerce domain to effectively collaborate across functions and organizations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end technology programs for e-commerce (retail) domain to drive expected outcomes.
- Break down initiatives into workstreams, defining program timelines and accountabilities.
- Engage with organizational leadership (C-level), and key business customers to collaborate on the delivery of program.
- Act as the single source of truth in execution of complex programs.
- Understand system dependencies and facilitating discussions, communicating solutions and decisions.
- Creating and maintaining detailed and easy-to-digest program documentation and tracking status across multiple teams and workstreams.
- Proactively anticipating risks, developing mitigation plans, and driving problems to resolution.
Qualifications
Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in program management in e-commerce/retail.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- Experience working directly with executive teams
- Strong understanding of both product and program management techniques (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, OKRs).
- Knowledge of IT e-commerce platforms architecture (microservices), technologies (ERP, cloud).
- ERP (especially SAP) knowledge and transformation experience is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Great decision making, and problem solving.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, JIRA, Confluence.
