Student Placement Coordinator (Temporary Full-time until March 31, 2025)

The Student Placement Coordinator reports to Talent Acquisition and Development Manager.  The successful candidate is responsible to support the coordination of the student placement program including recruitment (career colleges, colleges, universities, district school boards, etc.), scheduling, onboarding/orientation students, recognition and tracking of student funding.  This position is ideal for a candidate looking to grow their human resources skills, contribute to a positive student experience, and work with managers and the recruitment team to initiate the sourcing tactics, building the student pipeline and expand the talent pool at Yee Hong.

1. Minimum 2 years related experience (i.e. human resources or volunteer coordination).
2. Certificate in human resources, volunteer management or other related field appropriate to the position.
3. Experience in the healthcare environment an asset.
4. Ability to think ahead, take initiative and quickly adapt in a fast-paced environment.
5. Good written and oral communication skills.
6. Ability to build positive and productive relationships with managers, students, and other key stakeholders.
7. Above average organization skills and attention to detail.
8. Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email)
