Job Description
> THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a Quality Inspector that would be responsible for our Incoming Quality and Supplier quality. Electromechanical inspection and testing of incoming components and materials, working with local suppliers for resolution of supplier related issues. Maintaining Incoming Inspection and supplier quality metrics. Participate in the development and maintenance of the documented Quality System related to job function.
> KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct Electromechanical inspection and testing of incoming components and materials.
- Working with Suppliers to address quality issues of incoming product. Including but not limited to, identification of defects, root cause and corrective actions.
- Maintain and report on Incoming quality and Supplier quality metrics.
- Collaborate with Operations when priorities need to be set to support production requirements.
- Inspect products per IPC workmanship standards.
- Reading and interpreting drawing requirements and basic process and product acceptance standards.
- Inventory of incoming material and identify discrepancies
Qualifications
- Familiarity with the use of calipers, microscope, functional gauging, and other basic inspection equipment.
- Use of visual standards to verify finish and appearance features.
- Good math and reading skills.
- Have good verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer literacy, MS Word, Excel.
- Working knowledge of IPC-A-610 workmanship standards
- Familiarity with AQL sampling plans
- Good attendance and work habits.
- Ability to work independently
- Willingness and ability to be trained in the job function and system requirements.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience.
