The Opportunity

You are a people person who is comfortable working with others on industry requirements for quality of electromechanical assemblies & calibration. You should have the ability to present workmanship or other quality concerns in a manner that is respectful and elicits growth and understanding of the needs and expectations of the organization and our customers.
If that sounds like you, we have a great opportunity for someone experienced in inspecting electro-mechanical assemblies, these mixed assemblies are used in RF generators, electrostatic chuck supplies, and matching impedance networks primarily in the semiconductor markets. Key Responsibilities
- Disposition of parts rejected from internal processes for rework, scrap or further evaluation.
- Updating red tag entries to reflect current disposition and/or status of discrepant materials data into our PDM system for defect tracking.
- Report and escalate any repeat issues to quality engineering & management to begin mitigation activities.
- Transact all parts in our ERP system to ensure visibility of product movement through the organization.
- Inspection of PCBs per IPC-610
- Inspection of cables and harness assemblies per IPC-620
- Inspection of general electromechanical assemblies ensuring fasteners are properly torqued and assembled in accordance with the documented assembly process
- Follow Safety, FOD, and ESD best practices to ensure both our people and products are safe
- Get involved with continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system, such as 5S, Kaizen, Lean manufacturing.
Qualifications
- IPC600, 610 & 620 certification current or past experience
- Ability to use inspection tools: micrometers, rulers, multimeters and other basic metrology or electronic test equipment specifically digital multimeters
- Attention to detail
- Ability to articulate defects details in writing and verbally to assembly and production personnel.
- Comfortable using Microsoft office products Word, Excel, Teams and other enterprise software tools.
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A positive attitude and a focus on learning and growing professionally.
- Able to work independently and successfully in a team environment.
