Job Description

The Assistant Uniform Operations Manager supervises the department's staff and operations

Job Responsibilities:

  • Acting as Manager on Duty (MOD)
  • Maintaining day to day operations for the department
  • Conducting employee evaluations and counseling
  • Resolving departmental challenges
  • Monitoring, scheduling and assisting employees

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Embroidery, embossing and engraving skills preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills and telephone etiquette
  • Excellent leadership, training and scheduling skills
  • Experience in a large Resort/Convention hotel preferred
  • 21 years of age or older
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (speaking, writing and reading)
  • Neat, well-groomed appearance
  • Capable of working varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Supervisory experience
  • Uniform operations and experience with unions preferred 
  • Working knowledge of computer applications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment
