Job Description
The Assistant Uniform Operations Manager supervises the department's staff and operations
Job Responsibilities:
- Acting as Manager on Duty (MOD)
- Maintaining day to day operations for the department
- Conducting employee evaluations and counseling
- Resolving departmental challenges
- Monitoring, scheduling and assisting employees
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Embroidery, embossing and engraving skills preferred
- Excellent customer service skills and telephone etiquette
- Excellent leadership, training and scheduling skills
- Experience in a large Resort/Convention hotel preferred
- 21 years of age or older
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (speaking, writing and reading)
- Neat, well-groomed appearance
- Capable of working varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Supervisory experience
- Uniform operations and experience with unions preferred
- Working knowledge of computer applications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment
