Job Description
The Daylife and Nightlife Apprentice Bartender / Marketing Model is responsible for assisting the Bartenders while providing superior guest service. Service should be consistent with Forbes 5 Star Standard rating. All duties and assignments are to be performed according to departmental and Wynn company standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assisting Bartender to serve beverages, food and amenities in all areas of the pool and
- nightclub
- Daily stocking and set up/breakdown of bar area
- Keep bar top, service station and work areas clean and organized
- Maintain a clean and hygienic workstation in accordance with Clark County Health standards
- Responsible for practicing, supporting and promoting the Company Service Standards
- Responsible for the daily set up of the bars and service areas before the venue opens
- Responsible for the daily breakdown of the bars and service areas as the venue closes
- Assist guests with requests, offering appropriate alternatives and seeking assistance when necessary
- Consistently deliver exceptional service to every guest while interacting and entertaining in a professional manner
- Maintain opening, running and closing service equipment par, product and supply par
- Ensure proper rotation of all liquor, beer, wine and consumable items
- Recognize and acknowledge when guests are becoming intoxicated and/or are intoxicated
- Ensure daily/nightly opening and closing duties are completed
- Adhere to and enforce company specific safety and health department policies/procedures
- Report any incidents or violations to management
- Follow all designated emergency procedures
- Attend required trainings
- Marketing and promoting pool and nightclub events both on property and on Social Media platforms
- Maintain social platforms as indicated by management and participate in marketing campaigns via social media
Qualifications
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- Minimum of 2-3 years of work experience in a high-volume beverage or nightclub setting
- Must be able to communicate in English with guests and other team members
- Must be able to work efficiently within a team environment
- Must have the ability to withstand high temperatures, heat and sun
- Must adhere to both company and department specific policies and procedures
- Embrace company culture and take pride in the resort and amenities
