Job Description
The Massage Therapist is responsible for providing all massage services to every guest according to Forbes and Wynn Service Standards in the spa facility or any other venues on the Wynn Resort property where massage services are offered.
Massage Therapist job duties include but are not limited to:
- Provides professional massage and body treatments in accordance with Wynn Las Vegas and Forbes standards.
- Promotes the spa and salon services and can speak to and actively suggest other services/products to enhance the overall guest experience.
- Maintain a positive, enthusiastic attitude while embracing the Wynn Resorts core values and promises, along with the spa culture and values.
- Understands and is well-versed in the resort, hotel features and services including all outlets, hours of operation, activities, and events available to guests.
- Ensures the Wynn standards of cleanliness and appearance for all areas.
- Understands and abides by all Massage State Board of Nevada licensing requirements and policies.
- Ensures that all facility equipment is functioning properly and reports any concerns to Spa Management.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Requires a minimum of two years of experience as a massage therapist, and experience in a high-volume luxury spa or resort is preferred.
- Must possess and maintain a Nevada Massage Therapy license.
- Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be physically able to perform massage up to 10 hours a day/ 4 days a week.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English and fluency in a second language is a plus.
- Candidates must be well-groomed and professional.
- Must possess outstanding customer service, organizational, and interpersonal skills as well as excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
