We are seeking a highly motivated Legal Counsel (m/f/d) to join our team at ProGlove, a leading provider of wearable technology solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for advising on a variety of both internal and external legal and compliance topics.  

Job Description

Your mission...
As Legal Counsel, you will closely work with various stakeholders throughout the company and you will report directly to our General Counsel. We’re dedicated to find someone who with experience working in a fast-paced environment and is looking to joining an international company. Your day-to-day will also consist of mainly these topics:  

  • Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including but not limited to client agreements, vendor contracts, service agreements, and confidentiality agreements
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
  • Assess and mitigate legal risks associated with business activities and provide strategic advice to internal stakeholders
  • Develop, implement, and maintain internal policies and procedures to promote legal compliance across the organization
  • Advise on data protection and privacy matters, including compliance with applicable data protection laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver training programs on legal and compliance-related topics
  • Stay updated on legal developments and industry trends to proactively identify potential legal risks and provide relevant recommendations
  • Manage relationships with external legal counsel and other third-party advisors, as necessary

As our ideal candidate for this role, you come with the following skills and competencies:  

  • Graduate from a Faculty of Law 
  • 7+ years of experience practicing law, with a strong focus on contracting and compliance matters
  • In-depth knowledge of contract law, corporate law, and relevant regulatory frameworks
  • Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts
  • Familiarity with data protection and privacy laws, such as GDPR and CCPA
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify legal risks and provide practical solutions
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to balance legal considerations with commercial objectives

This position is for approx. 20 hours/week.

The annual salary for this position is between 16.500 € and 19.800 € NET per year.
