Role description

Global Brand Performance Lead will be responsible for devising Wolt’s paid online branding strategy and roadmap to deliver high impact campaigns that grow brand metrics as well as boost the funnel for more tactical ones. We are looking for someone who’s an experienced marketer with a strategic, analytical & leadership mindset, but who is not afraid of getting their hands dirty and doing things themselves.

 

The role is tasked with maximizing the efficiency of our online brand marketing investment while making sure we collect global learnings and a unified strategy across all regions. The person in this role will lead the Brand Performance team of 3 campaign specialists, working closely with other performance marketing functions like UA and Engagement, our central operations as well as our country operation teams in 26 markets. The goal is to help drive world-class top of funnel brand campaigns to support Wolt’s short and long term user growth. The role reports directly to the Director of Performance Marketing.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop our online brand marketing strategy and define the 6,12 & 18 months roadmap

  • Lead the Brand Performance team by nurturing high ownership, freedom and professional growth while driving a clear vision and plan to execute, optimize and measure the effectiveness of the Brand Performance budget globally

  • Design, manage, implement, and execute Brand Performance strategies to drive top-of-funnel awareness and consideration while supporting the conversion driven teams to lower the cost at scale

  • Own the budget: This includes creating and masterminding the strategies and tactics to best utilise our budgets and building our brand as well as showing results

  • Be the link between our global BP team and the local teams ensuring effective budgets and objectives for BP campaigns as well as driving testing between offline and online

  • Implement best practices, build out process to how to run best brand campaigns on both web & mobile across different DSPs, paid social as well as other ad networks

  • Set clear brand marketing KPIs as proxy to drive business KPIs by working closely with our engineering and data scientists and setting up proper measurement framework for all Brand Performance campaigns

  • Manage stakeholder interests and provide ongoing feedback / reporting analysis to executive leadership

  • Actively scout for new potential channels and have a clear testing pipeline and process to spot out the ones to add to our regular portfolio

Qualifications

What are we looking for

  • Experienced growth marketer with a proven track record in top-of-funnel campaign planning and execution with a focus on driving consideration that could support lower conversion campaigns at scale

  • Extensive hands-on experience with paid social marketing, Google and programmatic campaign management (ad exchange or direct deals) across countries

  • Proven analytical experience in utilizing data to design, develop and execute multi-channel online marketing activities, set KPIs and show results as well as working with web & mobile tracking and incrementality measurement

  • Experience in leading a team running PPC campaigns via Google, paid social and programmatic etc. and having strong understanding of scaling them in multiple countries while supporting and enabling growth for team members

  • Strong communicator, someone who can influence, lead and negotiate with people at all levels both internally and externally

  • A passionate and organized self-starter, who doesn’t accept the status quo, but always seeks to improve and automate things in order to increase performance

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Experience with offline marketing is considered an advantage
