Wolt is looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to strengthen our Consumer Web Team with a focus but not limited on SEO/UI/UX. This includes SSR, core web vitals, building landing pages from APIs, help with A/B tests, and optimizing GTM tagging alongside the core functionalities of wolt.com.

The Consumer Web Team is part of the Consumer Product group and is responsible for delivering the consumer web experience via wolt.com.

This team is the heart of wolt.com, we help to drive the development and architecture of the core web application at Wolt, instrumental for keeping our operations running in all of our 23 markets. We have a strong focus on quality and scalability, and exciting challenges around frontend architecture. Last but not least, we deliver core business features and have a passion for keeping our amazing and delightful user experience.

The team consists of our seasoned product lead who is helping us to find new verticals, a team lead helping others to shine (and who also happens to have long hands-on experience in frontend engineering), an exceptional group of frontend developers that nurtures and implements the wolt.com experience with help of designers, motion designers and QA engineers.

You will work closely with the SEO and Marketing Teams to make wolt.com more visible in search engines, more measurable, and more performant as an acquisition channel. .

📍This role can be based in one of our tech hubs in Helsinki, Berlin or Stockholm, or you can work remotely anywhere in Finland, Sweden, Germany, Denmark, and Estonia. We are looking for someone with a strong background in building consumer-facing frontend applications using React & TypeScript and delivering modern, testable and maintainable code. We commit to a user-centric approach and expect to find someone like-minded. The dream candidate would be excited about UI/UX -related work, search engine optimization, conversion rate optimization, and marketing technologies like GA, GTM, and Search Console, to name a few.
