Wolt is looking for a Senior Quality Assistance Engineer with quality coaching focus to support our Discovery Experience Group! You’ll be developing our engineering teams’ testing practices to the next level, while enabling scalability in our quality assurance processes and testing. Wolt is well known for a high quality product, so you’ll be in a crucial position to keep the bar high!

The Quality Assistance team supports the whole organization in adopting the mindset of testing to be owned by everyone in the development teams (Check out our Quality Assistance blog). You'll be working with several of our agile development teams by supporting them in building scalable and powerful QA setup for their product(s). 

In addition to coaching capabilities you’ll help our teams to reach their long term development goals and build efficient, reliable and scalable test automation based on the teams needs. Our development teams aim to utilize the best technologies and tooling suitable for their needs for test automation. The QA team aims to help in identifying which they are, taking them into use and continuing developing them further. We expect you to be eager to learn and use them for the benefits of these teams and your own development. 

You'll be working in a role which requires active communication across teams, taking ownership, working proactively, capability to prioritize your workload and great communication skills. Our working language is English. 

Discovery Experience group focuses on building search and enriching our personalized customer experience in Wolt’s consumer apps. This happens on all customer facing platforms (mobile and web) and utilizes machine learning, all of which we would hope to see previous working experience in. Experience in coaching and facilitating a team to improve their quality related ways of working as well as overall test planning and creating test automation will take you far.  

Tools wise we'd hope you to be comfortable with Jira, Git, Github Actions, Playwright, and some of the mobile automation related tooling such as Selenium+Appium. Programming skills e.g. in Kotlin, Swift, Typescript (React) will be beneficial, but we appreciate knowledge in other languages too. We also look for experience with 3rd party integrations and API testing.
