Join a highly-skilled development team based in Vilnius, where you'll create features used by millions of users around the world. 

In the Functions team, you will be a Backend-focused xEngineer. This means while your core strength lies in designing high-performance backend architectures, you possess the curiosity to work end-to-end and the mindset to lead with AI-native workflows.

In your day-to-day, you will:

• Collaborate across backend and frontend to deliver features end-to-end — you won't work in isolation, but you're expected to contribute meaningfully on both sides of the stack

• Design, build, and evolve SPIs and APIs together with the team, plugging into Wix's business logic ecosystem across multiple business areas

• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers across teams to ship cohesive, high-quality experiences

• Apply AI-assisted development tools to move faster and raise the quality bar

• Set technical direction within the team — influence architecture decisions, define patterns, and raise the engineering bar

• Write clean, testable, production-grade code that runs at massive scale

• Help shape how the team works — not just what it builds

• 5+ years of software engineering experience

• Proficiency in at least one of: Scala, Java, or Node.js

• Excellent English language skills

• Curiosity to touch & learn frontend 

• Good communication and organizational skills

• Pragmatic approach to quality — you know when to move fast and when to be rigorous

Salary range is 6000 - 8000 Eur GROSS / month (Total compensation, including RSUs package)
