Job Description

ICG recognises that sustainability and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors can be an important driver of investment value and source of investment risk. We believe that by identifying and assessing these factors as a core part of our investment process, and by ensuring that these issues are properly managed over the lifetime of our investments, we can create value for our clients and support more successful and sustainable businesses over the long term. If you care about Sustainability and ESG matters and wish to be part of a leading firm, this is a rare and exciting opportunity.

The Sustainability Team sets ICG’s sustainability strategy for our numerous asset classes and strategies, and works to strengthen and embed our sustainability frameworks, tools, and practices into each respective investment approach with investment teams. Additionally, the team works with numerous other functions within the firm to support ESG-related regulatory compliance, generate robust and accurate disclosures, and ensure transparent and effective communication regarding ICG’s position on sustainability topics.

This role will provide support to the team’s efforts across all of our work. It will offer a great deal of variety and a chance to learn more about sustainability topics, as well as visibility across the firm, as sustainability matters cut across nearly everything we do.

  • Note-taking and meeting minutes in team/cross-team meetings
  • You can expect a variety of tasks and projects, particularly given how much and how frequently the sustainability landscape changes over time

This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a highly experienced and dynamic Sustainability Team in a successful alternative asset management firm. You would work closely with and learn from every member of the team to ensure sustainability is integrated into our investment decision-making, portfolio management, and reporting across different asset classes and strategies, working to strengthen our approach as a critical part of our business.
