Job Description

We're looking for a detail-oriented and organized Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources team in Sydney, Australia. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and recruiting top talent to support our organization's growth and success. You will work collaboratively with hiring managers across departments to understand their staffing needs and deliver high-quality candidates who align with our company culture and values. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our organization by building strong talent pipelines and streamlining our recruitment processes.

  • Source and screen resumes using various recruitment channels, including job boards, social media, and professional networks
  • Post job openings on appropriate platforms and manage job descriptions to attract qualified candidates
  • Conduct initial phone and video interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit
  • Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and professional experience
  • Maintain accurate and organized candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Build and nurture relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing timely updates and feedback
  • Analyze recruitment metrics and provide insights on sourcing effectiveness and time-to-hire
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to refine job requirements and develop targeted recruitment strategies
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company recruitment policies
  • Participate in recruitment planning and forecasting to support organizational staffing needs
  • Customize recruitment approaches for different roles and departments to optimize candidate quality

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or related HR function
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment software
  • Strong resume screening and candidate evaluation skills
  • Experience with job posting platforms and sourcing techniques
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple recruitment requisitions simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with hiring managers and cross-functional teams
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in candidate data management
  • Knowledge of employment law and recruitment compliance requirements
  • Preferred: Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter or similar professional networking platforms
  • Preferred: Familiarity with recruitment analytics and reporting tools
  • Preferred: Experience recruiting across multiple industry sectors or functional areas
  • Preferred: Knowledge of talent acquisition best practices and recruitment process optimization
