Job Description
We're looking for a detail-oriented and organized Talent Operations professional to join our team in Sydney, Australia. In this role, you will be the backbone of our talent management function, ensuring smooth and efficient HR operations while supporting our organization's growth and employee success. You will work closely with our HR and recruitment teams to streamline processes, maintain accurate employee records, and optimize our talent systems and workflows.
- Manage and maintain HRIS systems and employee databases, ensuring data accuracy, security, and compliance with Australian employment regulations
- Coordinate recruitment activities including job postings, candidate tracking, interview scheduling, and offer letter preparation
- Process employee onboarding and offboarding activities, including documentation, system access provisioning, and compliance verification
- Analyze HR metrics and generate reports to identify trends, process improvements, and operational efficiencies
- Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring organizational consistency and legal compliance
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with external HR service providers, including payroll and benefits administrators
- Optimize talent operations workflows and processes through continuous improvement initiatives and automation opportunities
- Provide administrative support to the HR team and serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR operations
Qualifications
**Required Qualifications:**
- 2-4 years of experience in HR operations, talent management, recruitment coordination, or related administrative HR functions
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms and HR management systems (such as Workday, BambooHR, or similar tools)
- Strong data management and analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR metrics and generate actionable insights
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Knowledge of Australian employment law, workplace relations, and HR compliance requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally across all organizational levels
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability and attention to detail in managing complex HR processes
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience with HR analytics and workforce planning tools
- Familiarity with payroll systems and processes
- Project management experience within an HR or operational context
- Knowledge of recruitment best practices and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
- Experience with HR process automation and workflow optimization
- Certification in HR operations or related HR professional credentials
