Job Description

  • Supporting the Product team that powers the Wise Card issuing infrastructure to our partners. You’ll be spearheading the end-to-end operational onboarding flow of new partners which includes configuring set-up in Visa/Mastercard, onboard partners onto Apple Pay/Google Pay and solving physical card issuance requirements.

  • Taking full ownership of projects from initial scoping to final implementation, including assessing problem size and impact, creating rollout plans, collaborating across teams, conducting testing, and refining solutions.

  • Identify bottlenecks and areas of improvement from a Product Ops perspective

  • Work closely with Product team to optimise the card onboarding flows 

  • Own and drive conversations with card manufacturers when it comes to submitting change requests and other changes required for the cards program

  • Build out operational guides for new product offering and managing customer physical card programs 

  • Assist CS teams when escalations are made with regards to delivery issues

  • Work closely with Finance on ensuring that all card invoices are promptly delivered and processed on time

  • Manage disputes & chargeback requests as well as escalations from partners/internal teams

Qualifications

  • You have a technical understanding and knowledge of card issuing products and implementation flows and the ability to apply it to develop and/or recommend solutions.

  • You have delivered big-sized projects, working with engineers or other product or operational teams, and can demonstrate clear impact on your projects. You have previous experience making improvements to a product or process.

  • You have a track record of achieving targets and goals, setting, and monitoring success.

  • You can clearly articulate, simplify, and scope problems with data and customer insights, and follow through to completion. You can identify gaps in products and processes and show initiative to independently solve new issues.

  • You’re proactive and a great relationship builder, experienced at working closely with external partners by tailoring your communication style for the right audience as well as product development teams, including product managers and engineers.

  • You consider and map mission impact when scoping new projects.

  • You actively seek stakeholder feedback and empathise with viewpoints and feedback from others.

  • You are flexible with your working hours to work with teams in different time zones.
