We specialize in rope for the gas and oil industry for mining and off shore drilling, cranes, bridges and military installations.

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining plant equipment and facilities to ensure minimal machine downtime and maximum production efficiency.

1. Perform mechanical repairs of a complex nature using hand and power tools.
2. Perform preventive maintenance when possible.
3. Fabricate machine guards, special tools and equipment as needed.
4. Install machinery and mechanical equipment.
5. Repair hydraulic equipment, hoists and lift-trucks.
6. Maintain the plant physical structure.
7. Perform all duties in accordance with work instructions and procedures to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the plant.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of a 2 year course in Maintenance Mechanic
• Experiences in operating manual machining equipment such as lathes and mills.
• Experiences in welding.
• Fluent in Spanish.
• Basic skill level in Microsoft Office software.

Additional Information

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
• An applicant must complete a satisfactory background check post-offer of employment.  A criminal conviction will not be an automatic bar to employment.
• Must be willing and able to pass a post-offer drug screen and physical (if required)
