Job Description
The finance summer interns will join our finance team at our World Headquarters in Prairie Village, KS to support the financial operations and data-driven decision making processes at WireCo. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience at a global manufacturing company with various initatives such as forecasting, audit, accounting, treasury, financial modeling, and more.
This is a paid, 40-hours per week internship, running mid-May 2024 to Mid-August 2024. Interns will also receive a monthly housing stipend.

Duties & Responsibilities
Summer interns will work on a variety of projects and daily tasks, examples may include:
- Research and analyze data from multiple sources to provide crucial decision-making information to the business functions
- Present data-driven recommendations to the finance team
- Provide MS Excel and MS PowerPoint reports to support other functions with timely and accurate deliverables
- Assist with financial modeling
- Provide general accounting support
- Assist with implementing standard work processes and procedures
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Actively pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in finance, accounting, or another relevant discipline
- Minimum completion of 2 years of coursework

- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
- An applicant must complete a satisfactory background check post-offer of employment. A criminal conviction will not be an automatic bar to employment.
