Job Description
We’re looking for a Duty Supervisor to join our team based in Miramar, Wellington, responsible for assisting our leaders from the tour floor to drive exceptional visitor experience across all our delivery spaces.
Day to day you’ll be:
- A key component of our team delivering exceptional tour and workshop experiences to guests
- Assisting the Attraction Lead & Experience Supervisor to oversee core day-to-day duties as required and ensure best practice approach and culture is maintained throughout.
- In the absence of team leaders, or as otherwise required, providing ‘on the day’ supervision of Hosts and delivery spaces placing visitor experience as a key priority in all activity.
- Operations and Retail duties
We’re looking for someone who brings:
- NCEA Level 3 or equivalent
- 1+ years’ experience as a host or tour guide
- Familiarity with retail operations related to tours
- A knowledge/understanding and passion for movies, pop culture, graphic novels etc.
- Superior communication and storytelling abilities
- Visitor-focused, adaptable, and personable demeanour.
- Proficient in managing tour groups and maintaining guest engagement.
- Detail-oriented and proactive in preserving presentation standards.

Additional Information
This is a permanent, full-time role – 35 hours hours-per-week, rostered across 7 days per week, and you’ll need to available weekends and evenings. The pay rate for this role is $29.66 per hour.
