Job Description
Ensure all golf carts remain in safe and efficient working condition. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and performing necessary repairs to keep carts fully operational.
As Transportation Technician, you will:
- Observe mechanical devices in operation and listen to locate the cause of trouble
- Raise vehicle, with hydraulic jack or hoist, to gain access to mechanical units bolted to the underside of the vehicle
- Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts
- Remove units such as engine, transmission, or differential
- Examine form and texture of parts to detect imperfection and dimensional requirements
- Disassemble unit and inspects parts for wear
- Rewire ignition system, lights, and instrument panel
- Install special functional and structural parts and devices
- Maintain golf carts
- Start devices to test performance
- Keep a daily log to track repairs
- Set up and operate drill press, grinder, torches, welder, and other metalworking tools
- Other jobs as assigned to you by your supervisor

Qualifications
- Associates degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions
- Must be at least 18 and have a valid driver’s license to drive company golf carts
- Required to pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States
