Job Description

General Summary Of Duties:

The Director of Loyalty & Special Events is responsible for the oversight of the WOW Rewards Team, Casino Promotions, and Special Events. The Director is responsible for supervising, training, and retaining a highly skilled work force within the WOW Rewards and Special Events departments. Oversees the development, coordination and implementation of marketing initiatives and casino events with emphasis on design and execution of special events, tournaments, and promotions for casino guests. Ensuring optimum guest satisfaction and repeat visits within specified budgetary parameters. Will also be responsible for other marketing initiatives as required.

Qualifications

Role and Responsibilities: (Includes but is not limited to the following)

  • Responsible for hiring, training, development, motivation, and supervision of Player’s Club and Events staff. Recommend wage increases, promotions, evaluation ratings and other employment actions for team members.
  • Administers promotions and special events, including the development and implementation of ideas to coordinate with the calendar of events. 
  • Manages proformas and compiles financial budget for each event and promotion.  Recommends parameters, analyzes database information, and oversees the financial responsibility of the event through pre and post analysis.
  • Determines theme, décor, supplies, and food & beverage necessary for the event/promotion/tournament activities. Ensures timely procurement of the necessary parts and selects products that produce an elevated customer experience.
  • Manages the events and promotions segments of the gaming marketing system to ensure maximum efficiency and reporting accuracy.
  • Own and lead weekly Special Events and Promotions meeting.
  • Assists in establishing departmental objectives and business plans for WOW Rewards, Special Events, & Promotions; including budgeting, staffing, and goal-setting.
  • Creates, Manages, & Distributes reporting on WOW loyalty programming.
  • Work with Surveillance and casino team to ensure guest compliance.
  • Oversees WOW Rewards & Special events P&L and provides monthly financial operating statements.
  • Maintains knowledge of GCB compliance requirements and retains records in accordance with guidelines.
  • Create and distribute documentation for WOW Rewards, Promotions, & Special Event programming to property-wide audience.

Additional Information

Experience  Requirements

  • 5 years minimum casino marketing experience required
  • 2 years minimum supervisory role preferred 
  • 2 years minimum casino loyalty or special events experience preferred 

Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Math, Finance, Economics or Marketing.

Desirables:

Proficiency in casino programs CMS such as ACSC, Casino CRMs, EBS Bonusing Suite, and PowerPoint a plus. Strong passion to learn and drive continuous improvement.
