Job Description
Supports resort operations teams and facilities by performing basic carpentry duties focused on projects, preventive maintenance, and work orders.
As a Carpenter, you will:
- Study blueprints, sketches, or building plans for information pertaining to type of material required, such as lumber or fiberboard, and dimensions of structure or fixture to be fabricated
- Select specified type of lumber or other materials
- Repair any broken or damaged cabinets, drawers or doors
- Prepare layouts
- Mark cutting and assembly lines on materials
- Shape materials to prescribed measurements
- Assemble cut and shape materials and fasten them together with nails, dowel pins, or glue
- Verify trueness of structure with plumb bob and carpenters level
- Erect framework for structures and lay subflooring
- Build stairs and lay outs and install partitions and cabinet work
- Install and remove laminates on counter tops and furniture
- Apply shock-absorbing, sound-deadening, and decorative paneling to ceilings and walls
- Fit and install prefabricated window frames, doors, doorframes, weather stripping, interior and exterior trim, and finish hardware, such as locks, letter drops, and kick plates
- Construct forms and chutes for pouring concrete
- Erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level
- Follow industry and company safety procedures and practices

Qualifications
- One year minimum related experience and/or training
- Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver’s license to drive company vehicles
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions
- Required to pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States
