Job Description

As a General Maintenance Engineer at our resort, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities. Your primary responsibilities will include performing engineering projects, attending to guest calls, and executing preventative maintenance tasks under the guidance of resort leadership.

As General Maintenance, you will:

  • Execute general support tasks like painting, caulking, and repairing wall damages to maintain the aesthetic appeal of the property
  • Conduct basic troubleshooting and repairs on plumbing fixtures including toilets, tubs, Jacuzzis, showers, faucets, and sinks, including unclogging as necessary
  • Reset breakers and GFCIs, replace bulbs, and determe available voltage using appropriate tools
  • Install or replace TVs, conduct basic troubleshooting, and program remotes and electronic devices
  • Troubleshoot appliances, replace minor components, and assist in full replacements when needed
  • Actively participate in the procurement and inventory process to ensure materials and tools are readily available for maintenance work
  • Utilize and navigate resort operation devices and software effectively (e.g., HotSOS and other applicable tools)
  • Safely operate hand tools, electrical, and battery-powered tools required for the job
  • Work confidently with ladders, scaffolds, and lifts, while adhering to appropriate PPE guidelines
  • Strictly adhere to safety guidelines and practices to ensure a secure working environment
  • Perform any other assigned duties as required

Qualifications

  • EPA Certification preferred
  • CPO Certification preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license to drive company golf carts
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions
  • Required to pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States
