Job Description

Maintain fleet of vehicles so that we have very low downtime of vehicles. Inspect all vehicles daily for scratches/dents, fluids are filled, vehicles operate normally. Ensure trip logs and inspections are completed. Ensure vehicles are clean. Drive vehicles to auto mechanic as needed and pick up vehicles after repairs are completed. Respond to all accidents while on duty to correctly complete report. After accident, ensure policies are followed as far as SPI while driver is checked for any impairment. Assist with providing service to our limo, shuttle and delivery teams.

As a Fleet Maintenance Specialist, you will: 

  • Check all vehicles on a daily basis to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
  • Ensure all fluids are filled.
  • Set up appointments with auto mechanic when vehicles are in need of service.
  • Safely transport vehicles to/from repair shop
  • Follow up with mechanic to determine when vehicles can be picked up.
  • Respond to any accidents to ensure reports are completely filled out and photos are taken.
  • Follow proper procedures when any driver reports an accident.
  • Must demonstrate the highest customer service to all passengers at all times.
  • Transportation of Team Members to and from assigned work areas.
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings and other company functions.
  • Ability to operate a two-way radio or similar device to communicate with Transportation Manager, Dispatchers or other vehicles to report disruption of service, traffic issues, location and passenger loads as directed.
  • Keep assigned vehicle clean throughout shift, fill gas tank as needed and service vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories as needed.
  • Perform & complete all required vehicle inspections, report accidents and communicate with Transportation Manager for assignments and advice.
  • Must comply with all other department expectations and requirements -- at all times.
  • Assist with driving shuttles, limos and delivering mail as needed.

Requirements
