  • International Recruitment role supporting North Asia markets.
  • Salary $107,053 – $115,469 per annum, plus 17% Super and Leave Loading. 

Coordinate international recruitment activity across North Asia and support enrolment growth.

The Opportunity

Western Sydney University is seeking an International Regional Coordinator to help drive the University’s international recruitment growth across North Asia and the Australian onshore market.

This role is part of a high-performing International Recruitment team responsible for promoting Western Sydney University globally and attracting talented students from around the world. You will play a key role in delivering regional recruitment strategies, developing strong relationships with international agents and partners, and representing the University at recruitment events both onshore and offshore.

Reporting to the Regional International Recruitment Manager (Onshore), you will contribute to achieving international enrolment targets by implementing targeted recruitment initiatives, identifying market opportunities, and supporting prospective students through the recruitment journey.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Deliver regional recruitment plans and targeted activities that contribute to international student enrolment growth across North Asia.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with international recruitment agents and partners, supporting them to effectively represent the University.
  • Increase student applications, improve applicant quality, and strengthen conversion outcomes through proactive recruitment and engagement activities.
  • Represent Western Sydney University at recruitment events, information sessions, and market engagement activities both onshore and offshore.
  • Monitor agent performance, recruitment data, and market trends, providing insights to inform recruitment strategies and improve outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with International Admissions, Faculties, Schools, and partner campuses to ensure prospective students receive timely, accurate advice and support.
  • Contribute to the delivery of coordinated campaigns and initiatives that strengthen Western Sydney University’s presence across key international markets.

About You

You are a motivated and globally minded professional with experience in international education recruitment, marketing, or business development. You enjoy working in a dynamic environment where building relationships, understanding markets, and achieving recruitment outcomes are central to your work.

You bring strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders including agents, students, and colleagues across the University.

You will have:

  • A tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience in international education recruitment.
  • Experience in international education recruitment or sales, with a strong understanding of international student markets.
  • Knowledge of trends and opportunities across North Asia and the Australian onshore international student market.
  • A demonstrated ability to achieve recruitment or sales targets and contribute to measurable outcomes.
  • Experience implementing international marketing and recruitment initiatives informed by market research and intelligence.
  • Excellent written, verbal, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships; willingness to travel internationally and work flexibly to meet operational requirements.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
