Job Description

We are seeking a talented and innovative **Senior AI & Automation Engineer** to join our team in Bengaluru, India. In this hands-on role, you will design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge AI-driven automation solutions that transform enterprise workflows and enhance employee experience across IT, HR, Procurement, and Operations. You will work collaboratively with product owners, business stakeholders, QA partners, and fellow engineers to deliver intelligent virtual agents, backend automation services, and scalable integrations using modern AI platforms and frameworks. This is a delivery-oriented position that offers opportunities to mentor junior team members and contribute to shared technical standards while driving innovation in generative AI and agentic systems.

  • Design, develop, and maintain intelligent chatbots and AI agents using enterprise platforms such as Moveworks (Agent Studio), Glean (Agents), Microsoft Power Virtual Agents, and similar tools.
  • Build and optimize Python-based automation scripts, backend services, and microservices that power AI-driven workflows and enterprise integrations.
  • Implement and refine LLM-powered solutions, including prompt engineering, conversational design, contextual reasoning, and advanced agentic AI patterns.
  • Apply agentic AI concepts and Model Context Protocol (MCP) to develop multi-step reasoning workflows, tool orchestration, and intelligent agent behaviors.
  • Develop and maintain REST APIs and backend services that seamlessly integrate AI solutions with enterprise systems such as ServiceNow, Workday, Microsoft 365, and internal platforms.
  • Support workflow automation initiatives using Power Automate, Power Apps, and low-code/no-code platforms to accelerate solution delivery.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize AI agent performance, reliability, and response accuracy through analytics, logging, and continuous feedback loops.
  • Collaborate with QA testers and automation engineers to validate AI workflows, integrations, and end-to-end scenarios with precision and attention to detail.
  • Participate in test automation, regression testing, and release validation activities to ensure solution quality and stability.
  • Work effectively within Agile/Scrum delivery models, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions through transparent communication and collaborative problem-solving with cross-functional teams.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for designs, configurations, deployments, and operational procedures to support team knowledge sharing.
  • Mentor junior developers and support engineers transitioning into AI and automation development, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  • Stay current with emerging AI technologies, LLMOps practices, and industry best practices to drive innovation and operational excellence.

Qualifications

**Required:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of demonstrated experience building conversational AI, virtual agent solutions, or AI-driven automation systems.
  • Strong proficiency in Python for automation, backend development, and microservices implementation.
  • Solid understanding of NLP concepts, LLM-based systems, prompt engineering, and agentic AI frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and multi-agent orchestration patterns.
  • Proven ability to design and implement REST APIs and microservices for enterprise platform integrations.
  • Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise systems such as ServiceNow, Workday, Microsoft 365, or similar platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience working within Agile/Scrum development teams and delivering solutions in iterative cycles.
  • Ability to independently manage end-to-end solution delivery from design through deployment and optimization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

**Preferred:**

  • Hands-on experience with Moveworks, Glean, or similar enterprise AI platforms.
  • Familiarity with ChatGPT Enterprise or other enterprise-grade LLM deployments.
  • Experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, or low-code/no-code automation platforms.
  • Exposure to LLMOps practices, including monitoring, optimization, and performance tuning of AI systems in production environments.
  • Prior experience scaling AI or automation solutions across multiple business functions, departments, or geographic regions.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools for AI system observability.
  • Demonstrated mentoring or leadership experience with junior team members.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed system design patterns.
