Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The job holder is responsible to manage/coordinate overall factory scrap account & provide strategic direction on scrap reduction initiatives. Setting up project task force and work closely with various departments (i.e., Production, Engineering, NPI, PC, Materials, IS etc.) in meeting the overall department & company goal.
  • Efficiency contributes to improve (HDD utilization, HDD / HSAs Scrap KPI)
  • Efficiency contributes on scrap improvement strategy.
  • Involve with groups to KPI planning (Utilization improvement)  
  • Initiate strategic idea on scrap prevention (Scrap prevention e.g., Teardown avoidance, consume path)
  • Involve with team to define Risk & Opportunity on overall scrap (WIP on Hold)
  • Initiate project to improve and develop manufacturing process to support scrap cost reduction.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor degree or higher in Science or Engineering
  • At least 5 years working in related field

PREFERRED:

  • Experience in HDD assembly process

SKILLS:

  • Good command of spoken and written English
  • Computer literacy
  • Proficiency in MS Excel/Power Point
  • Strong coordination, presentation, and analytical skills
