We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Product Engineer to join our team in George Town, Malaysia. As a Product Engineer, you will play a crucial role in HDD-Media-Head performance characterization.

• You would guide Media Process Engineering team to optimize process to deliver best Media performance at HDD.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize product specifications and requirements (PM, Development and Process Engineering teams)
• Optimize existing products for improved yield performance, cost-effectiveness, and manufacturability
• Support Media performance optimization from development to high volume production
• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and manufacturing processes
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, or related field
• 5-8 years of experience in Manufacturing or Semiconductor industry
• Familiarity with industry-specific knowledge (HDD or Media process related experience would be added advantage)
• Proficient in JMP/Minitab, SQL
• Excellent problem-solving and strong analytical skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site manufacturing support or client meetings
