Customer system integration test engineer within Quality organization, having deep knowledge of the customer system, responsible for validating and characterizing Western Digital products in customer environments to ensure the product exceeds customer expectations.

•Key Job Functions:

–Develop infrastructure and test methods for new products and technologies.

–Execute validation activities during Product Lifecycle (Development and Quality.)

–Maintain Test Tracker accuracy (Status and Target dates)

–Support failure analysis of qualification and field issues for our domains.

–Provide analysis and report issues and concerns to stakeholders.

–Coordinate with others to share learnings & methods.

REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field e.g.  Electronics Engineering or Computer Science or Mechatronics Engineering
• Familiar with SATA/SAS protocol;
• Experience in servers and server testing;
• Shell, Python software skills; 
• HDD testing and support background

PREFERRED:

• Knowledge/experience in electronics/computer/servers 

SKILLS:

• Organization, Communication, Attention to detail, Data and analysis oriented, Strong technical domain knowledge and understanding of customer environments.
